I _FINALLY understand the expression “grading on a curve”. You guys are talking about the gauss curve!!! Stuff I learn while trying to write my education paper on assessment/evaluation!
Also; Grading on a curve is now illegal in Norway, because what other students do should not affect YOUR grade.
